How do you do it?

I know there are several aspiring authors out there who work a full time job and tend the to their family before they get the opportunity to write. So how do you do it? For me, writing in the wee hours of the morning inspires my creative side. Some of the best words I've put down on paper usually happens before the sun has even considers to rise.
